Jaguar Land Rover Showcases Expanded Lineup at Miami International Auto Show
(MAHWAH, NJ) – Aug. 29, 2017 – Jaguar Land Rover will showcase more than 10 vehicles from its new expanded 2017 MY and 2018 MY lineups at the Miami International Auto Show from September 9-17 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, including the all-new 2018 Range Rover Velar and 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE 400 SPORT models.
The Jaguar brand will display vehicles from its comprehensive 2017 and 2018 model year line-ups, including the Jaguar XE, XF and XJ sedans, the F-TYPE 400 SPORT, and the Jaguar F-PACE, winner of two 2017 World Car of the Year awards.
Land Rover will display its premium SUVs including the highly-anticipated Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Evoque Convertible, Range Rover Sport SVR, Range Rover Autobiography and the seven-passenger Land Rover Discovery.
2018 Range Rover Velar
Revealed earlier this year at the London Design Museum, the all-new Range Rover Velar is the fourth member of the Range Rover family positioned between the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport. The Range Rover Velar offers exceptional levels of luxury, refinement and all-terrain capability to mid-size SUV segment buyers.
The Range Rover Velar and Velar R-Dynamic comprises of four selectively available specifications including Standard, S, SE or HSE, with three powertrain options. Options include a 180HP four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine, a 247HP four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine which enables acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 6.4 seconds1, and an even more powerful, 380HP supercharged V6 gasoline engine.
Featuring the Jaguar Land Rover Lightweight Aluminum Architecture, the Range Rover Velar represents the next chapter of the brand’s success story. The Velar is defined by a visually reductive approach and meticulous attention to precision in every detail; this helps evolve the Range Rover DNA and previews the next generation of Range Rover vehicles.
2018 Jaguar F-TYPE
The Jaguar F-TYPE has been recognized as the most dynamically capable and performance-oriented Jaguar sports car and continues to evolve for 2018. The new model comes with a fresh look, new powertrain options and the addition of standard technology features previously unavailable.
Since its launch in 2012, the all-aluminum two-seater has firmly established itself as a strong competitor in the sports car segment and has won nearly 160 awards worldwide. The balance of seductive design, stunning performance and outstanding dynamics has always made the F-TYPE unique. Since its introduction, the F-TYPE has evolved to include both coupe and convertible body styles, the option of automatic and manual transmissions, as well as both rear- and all-wheel drive.
For the 2018 model year the F-TYPE model lineup offers even more driver-focused technologies and a broader model range; now comprising of 24 derivatives that include an all-new turbocharged 296HP Ingenium four-cylinder entry model, a number of supercharged V6 options and even a 200 mph2, all-wheel drive 575HP V8 powered F-TYPE SVR. Exclusive to the 2018 model year lineup, the F-TYPE 400 SPORT Special Edition offers 400HP from a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine.
